Filene’s Basement, known for it’s great deals on a variety of designer product, including Gucci shoes has filed for bankruptcy. I had gotten a great pair of blue patent leather shoes there ages ago.

I saw an article about some of the spring collections, in a counter-intuitive move, are weaving gold into their new collections. So, what’s next? I could see some gold inflected shoes coming up. Tastefully done of course, but it does seem like a natural, subtle fit
